Echo is predominantly reclaimed Delabole slate with sea-washed glass channels with a pewter circle encasing beach-found vintage crockery that surrounds a labradorite stone centrepiece. Labradorite is treasured for its remarkable play of colour, known as labradorescence – the stone is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold and pale green. Echo also has fossil and glass detail.
Echo has a hand-forged wrought iron base that has been acid etched to match the slate colouring and is galvanised for outdoor use. The base was made by Georgina Richards, Artistic Blacksmith.
